EAST FALMOUTH, Mass. — South Florida Sails Angling Club finished the job on Saturday, holding off a furious final-day charge to win the weather-shortened 2026 SFC Cape Cod Invitational, the Sport Fishing Championship’s Atlantic Division Stop 4 at MacDougall’s Marina.

With Championship Sunday already scrubbed by a National Weather Service Small Craft Advisory, Saturday became a winner-take-all sprint — and the chase pack came out swinging. New Jersey Sea Birds, blanked on Day 1, exploded for a fleet-best 1,200 points, while South Carolina Outcast added 1,100 to surge up the board. But South Florida Sails’ commanding 850-point opening cushion proved decisive: another 600 points on Saturday carried them wire-to-wire to 1,450 and the title.

South Carolina Outcast’s big Saturday vaulted the club into second at 1,300, edging New Jersey Sea Birds (1,200) for the runner-up spot. North Carolina Flare (950) and East Coast Remix (700) rounded out the top five. Home club Lights Out Boston — which set an SFC-record 47 releases on these waters in 2025 — posted 400 points Saturday to finish sixth, while Rhode Island Breakers logged a SCRATCH.
